Bionicle MOC: Chameleon

Description

A derpy Chameleon MOC with a retractable tongue (and a fly that sticks to the end of it)!
As an experiment I kept a vlog that contains the entire process from ideas through to this deviation. It contains 87 clips and is over half an hour long in total, I'm afraid, but I didn't feel like cutting any of it down! You can view it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NeEhY…

Anyway, the inspiration behind this MOC consisted of the use of Mata Green pieces, a tongue that can be wrapped up and stored in the mouth, and making an animal whose eyes genuinely do point in different directions (thus justifying the use of googly eyes!). Even though these eyes are somewhat smaller than they should anatomically be, I did put rubber bands around each one to make it a little more integrated.
All in all I'm very happy with how this MOC turned out, and I hope you like it too!

Well, when I saw the video on YouTube in my Subscriptions, I couldn't fit the picture anywhere. Yeah, yeah, another.. waait what? Making a MOC? In front of a camera? Oh hell yeah, I have to watch it. Now, about the MOC.

Vision is still incredibly well-maintained, and really good, as the colour scheme is still consistent and separates to only two colours. "The less colour changes, the better." From my Savage.

Originality speaks for itself, very thoughtfull creation. I really love the tail, the little 4 and 5 Technic pieces really give the curve.

Technique is still the staring too long at a piece, refines it again. Nothing more to discuss.

Impact is still awesome, I really love it.

Well, this was a really short critique, but in total, another awesome creation. Mata4Nui, out.
