The MOC review covers everything written here, plus more, if you have a bit of time and curiosity on your hands.
Endeavour is the one on the left. He is your typical jolly fat man, complete with moustache and dungarees, representing prosperity, luck and happiness. I haven't seen very many fat MOCs at all, and none which are Titan sized (correct me if I'm wrong), so he was a challenge. I also modelled him after a golden egg in a blue eggcup, for any symbologists out there. His head is by far my favourite part, since the cheeks and moustache are held in by friction!
Toxic is the one on the right. He is what happens when the egg 'cracks' - you could say something about how every good thing must have evil inside it to some extent - and he represents poverty, misfortune and fear. Toxic was the first time I've ever done a 'corrupt' MOC, so that was a first too. Note that the arm is the only major addition when converting from Endo to Toxic; an extra difficulty was to ensure that the gold armour was easily removable, whilst always covering the ribcage and spine underneath. Everything should become clear if you watch the video.

Endeauvour and Toxic: two beings of the same being. One is a Bionicle non-Christmas Santa while the other can be compared to many characters who have given into their evil side in pop culture. Such characters include the Dark Signers in Yugioh 5D's and Anakin Skywalker's descent turning into Darth Vader. But enough with the formalities.
Endeavour is extremely well built. Gold and the shade of blue is a great color combination. Gold is typically a color of royalty and the purity of the uncorrupted. As Endeauvour is supposed to be a jolly old man, this scheme works fine with him. I find it surprising that a creation of this size is able to stand on such weaker legs compared to the upper frame.
Toxic, being the same person but a change in color, has my same opinions as above. However, The black and purple elements scattered on Endeavour's face, most noticably his right arm, and torso/leg, symbolize the jolly old man's descent into your typical evil and immoral ideals. The idea of having Toxic literately spread his influence on the man's body is almost like in Spider-Man, where our valiant hero Peter Parker is being overtaken by the Symbiote that eventually turns into Venom.
As for my scoring, the originality was a slight decrease compared to other creations. This isn't in terms of the build - the build was very well done and unique. The reason i docked some points off was because of the story. The person who has something that is evil and slowly gains control of him is a form of a cliche in the world of pop culture. For the impact, the score is low due to this having little impact on any artist unless they would choose to draw this creation in an artistic form besides Legos or 3D models. Otherwise, this creation gets high marks all around!
In conclusion, this creation continues to show just what someone can do to not only challenge their creativity but the way they think and approach obstacles. Remember what I was saying about the legs and how they looked to unstable to support the larger torso? Rahiden was able to overcome this obstacle by using pieces he might not have considered using before. So with this ideal in mind, wouldn't someone working on something like a building, be able to go in with a simillar mindset to create a new way of having a building stay aloft?
Yeah, Purple Shlurple's been dead for years - he used up far too many ball joints for his size. If you're curious as to which MOCs are still together, just refer to the massive group photos
Finally! I found some time to comment on this! University kills me at the moment ... Anyway, this MOC really interesting! I haven't seen a fat one yet either, only muscle guys and slim stick mans. Endeavour reminds of a fat blue/gold super mario and his look really gives him a lot of character! The mustache is nice, but it wasn't my first idea when I saw that part on his face, but now I cannot NOT see it anymore xD The tightness of his armor is amazing, it makes me kind of jealous, especially using the masks on his ... lower back ... is and amazing idea (and kinda funny). What else? A nice and creative use of parts (his trousers are so cool xD) and everything seems to work with the concept. My only question is; is it intended to look a bit mechanic on his back with the trousers? Those dark grey and light grey technic parts? Or didn't you want to cover them?
Now Toxic; very interesting contrast! The slim arm and black skeleton like torso are very interesting to look at, especially with that extra color scheme. I had to look hard 'into' him in order to see the spine, but I couldn't see the ribcage at all, which I'd really would have liked to.
To sum this up; a very interesting MOC and a new step forward with your style of MOCing in my opinion!
Hehe, thanks for taking the time to comment! As for the mechanic-y trousers, my answer is yes and no: I thought that, if anything's going to look mechanic, it'd be the connection between the shoulder straps and the trousers themselves (originally the trousers were going to be held up by Gali hooks, but I ran out of space). The two grey stoppered axles are there to stop the Rahkshi shells from flipping out, which was a real annoyance before I installed them.
Anyway, I usually do a small update on the MOC shortly after each big project, so is there anything you might suggest? I'm going to try and get rid of the parts whose texture doesn't really fit (i.e Piraka feet on the sides of his belly and the gold tubing), and I'll make sure I get clearer views of the ribcage I might try making his torso more hollow as well, if it can support itself.
Suggestions? It's true the Piraka feet don't really support the roundness feeling because of their flat sole and the tubing is the same, but these aren't really big prolems in my opinion. Correcting such flaws is only part of perfecting what is already good. But things which I would suggest is rethinking his shoulders becouse here's the same problem which the Piraka feet create; the flat sole of the part is visible and doesn't fit the round shape of the shoulder. I don't really have a problem with Endos hands like some of the others do, they're simple, but simple is nothing bad, they fit him, that's what's important. I don't know, maybe you've already played around with that part, but isn't there any way to cover that stud on his mustache? It kind of breaks the flow of the beard ... but maybe I'm just not understanding who you wanted the mustache to work? After staring at his face for a while, I could also think of the stud as a nose ... Anyway, I like his Toxic form, there's not a lot I would change, but I'd really like to have a closer look on his 'insides'. My last suggestion, many other said it already and I've read your answers and reason; the arms really should be golden. I'm currently working on a pearl gold project as well (I may have told you some months ago) and I still have a lot of parts left, though I'm not finished yet, but I know there'll gonna be leftovers, so if you don't wanna buy additional parts, we could make it a trade of parts or something along those lines? I currently have every pearl gold bionicle pieces a few times and even some HF ones. If you're intersted in aynthing, just tell me.
