This MOC was a relatively quick build, as per request by ~
twisteddragon2, to make my version of his MOC Daedra. Come to think of it, Daedra is my third MOC built as per request (along with
these two). It's not my best work, definitely, but there are some aspects that I like about him.
The original can be seen
here. The concept is centred around the Phantoka ribcage, with a demonic style and Evangelion-esque build. As you can see, I've made my own alterations, most notably the tail.
Hope you like!

As far as vision goes, you're working within a fixed "field" and you did pretty well within it. You maintained the color scheme, and kept the most important "part" of the design in tact. In this case, though, there's at least one trait that the original definitely did better, and that's the hands. While they're quite long on the original, they were much more claw-like, and have a more pleasing overall design.
When it comes to originality, you're usually one of the best. Within that context, though, not a lot of this is used in ways I've never seen done before. It's not "surprising" or "Challenging" by the standards you yourself set.
Before I continue, great job ignoring the pressure and actually using a (modified) HF skeleton for the limbs. Most people just do not have the guts to do that, and I want to commend you for your bravery on that front. That said, it doesn't display your "technique" at all, and between the generic claws and the really bad use of Mata feet, coupled with the needless inclusion of Stars feet on the shoulders do a lot to detract from the overall shape of the upper body.
Despite the overall weakness of the limbs, the MOC has an exceptional torso design, and the head leaves nothing to be desired. No MOC is perfect, but this one is fairly memorable.
