Update 9/4/2012: Added armour to his calves, and made the poses more diverse.
My, was he a challenge... a strict colour distribution (that falters slightly on the outer arms and feet), limited pieces (five other MOCs that have stolen blue and white pieces) and, most importantly, a 50-50 build style between Bionicle and HF, which proved less compatible than I might've imagined.
As for this particular collage: I'd like to draw your attention to the top right corner, which displays the otherwise-hard-to-photograph white curves and rounded blue back, both of which I adore (in one photo, the left arm has been removed for better viewing). The photos in the other corners focus on his sword and shield, which can attach (without extra pieces) to other parts of his body if need be. As a side note, I did not invent the Gorast sword; I've seen it used by several different people, so I don't think anyone 'owns' it, as such.
Hope you like.

Ok, This my friend, is one of, if not, THE best 'ice moc' I have seen, and I shall write a critique on why. Firstly, the 50/50 use of Bionicle/HF parts is amazing. All the parts, regardless of Bionicle or HF, blend together like it's the same system. Secondly, the use of parts is amazing, e.g. Vultraz wings and Kopaka swords on shield, Kiina webs on head, Bohrok fangs as fingers and many more just come to show how thoroughly Aiden has thought through the usage of parts (and what parts to use,) not to mention the moc itself! My only complaints would be 1) As RattrapsTail said, the sword is too small and basic, and 2) It's hard to visualise the eyes due to them being so far into the head, giving vision a 4.5/5. Although, that does help give the head that heavy-amouring effect. And now, I conclude my first critique with a rather random comment. Avalanche's boss shield does his justice lLIKE A BOSS.
Perfect score, but why? I absoloutley love this moc as the whole shape flows together. I can see that you've really thought about how to use the pieces to the best of their abilities and found ways for them to seemingly 'merge' together. The head and shield designs are personally my favourite as the shield looks incredibly sturdy and the head design is quite unique. The presentation of the moc in this multiple angled way to display the best features in the most appealing way has definatley worked on this moc. The light background and the blue/white colour scheme form a calming tone to this otherwise daring creation. I love the concepts here and the colour scheme. Though we see many heroes with swords and shields, there are always countless ways to portray that classic image and this here definatley stands in a league of it's own. Amazing work on this moc, a lot of effort and thought put into this.
Woah! This is amazing! It's always interesting to see the heads of these MOCs you create and what pieces have been used in making them. Awesome job on this one! Man, I loved Bionicle a few years back, but I kinda just didn't bother with Hero Factory when it was released. Didn't feel the same.
Marvelous. The parts mesh together so well, despite being 'less compatible' than imagined. I like your choice to use the marbled pieces- gives the character a bit of an exciting look.
I love what you have going on with the helmet, what with the tube and the piece that only came in the Kiina set on the back of it.. I knew there was another use for the Hahli Mahri mask, just didn't know how till now.
The shield is great, love what you did there with the Kopaka swords, and the Hero Factory 5M shell completes it nicely. The Gorast wing-sword works rather well in an ice-theme, which is what this seems based around. Either that, or there were a lack of parts preventing you from making this guy keet-yellow and purple, which would have looked nearly as awesome as the colors do now.
Speaking of parts, I just noticed that the dark blue is mainly Bionicle parts, and the white are HF parts. Honestly, I would not have noticed if I wasn't paying attention tonight; the two ranges of parts flow so well together.
This is starting to sound like a critique, isn't it?
Only issue I could possibly see would be with the blue cup parts sticking out of the Inika-shoulder pads on the arms, but then again you had a lack of parts, and it fills that gap well enough.
Best Bionicle/HF mashup I've seen here so far. Well done to you
