Bionicle MOC: Sharkboot by Rahiden Bionicle MOC: Sharkboot by Rahiden
This is Sharkboot. He has sharks for feet.

...oh, is that not enough of a description? Okay, well, he's also a cyberpunk pirate-robot with a cannon-arm. Are the sharks made of metal, or is his whole body made of shark flesh? Who knows.

In terms of his build, obviously the whole thing was inspired by two shark pieces from an old Lego Pirates set, which restricted the colour usage since that shade of grey was discontinued after a few years. In fact this entire build (except the eyes) could've been made in 2004, if not earlier! Hope you like him.

I absolutely love the shaping that the sharks give to the legs. But my favourite part is the cannon arm. It looks very nice and the design is quite unique <3
Nice tablescrap here, dear!

ima try to build his torso.
i will give credit, don't worry about that, i just like the torso, it's inexpensive (for me), and it looks good.

Damn, this is some creative use of pieces. How stable is it actually?

Not terribly stable, unfortunately... it's almost as if sharks weren't designed to be feet. I had to put some pins on the back of them, so Sharkboot is basically wearing high heels. ^^;

How crazy... did lego not realize sharkboots were the most popular thing?

But really, awesome little design.

(For what it's worth, I've changed the heel-pins to the longer ones with the thick ends, so now Sharkboot is super stable :thumbsup: )

Barraki Eyes?  I think those were introduced in 2007...

Damn, forgot about those! I'm sure there are equivalent pre-2004 studs I could use :P
