Bionicle MOC: Fellest

This is Fellest. With an oversized knife blade as his right arm and a buzzsaw as his left, Fellest is primarily a treecutter.

Beyond that, his backstory is pretty undecided, but I'd like to put a festive spin on it - here are a few options:
<sub>- Fellest is nothing more than a lumberjack, venturing out into the forest to cut down pine trees for Christmas.
- The above, but Fellest somehow absorbed the spirits of every tree that he felled, making him resemble a pine himself.
- Fellest was originally a pine tree, but came to life! He crushed the lumberjack that was about to fell him and stole his tools, and now defends his forest from festive destruction.
- The above, except that Fellest is actually out to destroy the rest of the forest, so that he can be the last tree standing!</sub>

On second thoughts, I like this one most. _{The felled tip of a conifer stirred itself to life, crawling along on leafy tendrils, latching onto the back of the unsuspecting lumberjack (dressed in black), branches wrapping around his neck, leaves engulfing him like a coniferous parasite, the lumberjack's screams being muffled by the foliage... and creating Fellest. Fellest then becomes the slow but determined defender of his forest, never to be cut down again!}

There are a few points I'd like to raise about the MOC itself. Firstly, I am well aware that the Skrall shield is patterned red on one side, and you'll notice that the sneaky photography hides this fact. I personally don't mind it at all, since I'll be displaying Fellest on one side only, so it'll hardly be an issue.
Secondly, the massive spiky bit on his back. What even is that? I actually put it there because the Zaktan spine didn't want to curve down the back that nicely, and so I just let it stick out. Funnily enough it works as a good couterbalance for when I want to position the blade forwards like in the bottom right picture, and I like how it gives Fellest a kind of hunched appearance. Alternatively it could be some kind of defence feature, but that's the best (feeble) explanation for why there's a knife blade at the end.
All in all, Fellest is far from my best work, what with the arguably messy backspike and the legs' limited posability (well, there is a 50% chance that he's a tree, so give him a break) but I like him nonetheless.

If anyone is curious about the name, it resulted from reading through the Wiktionary article of the word 'fell' after deciding that Lumber and Feller weren't that suitable. 'Fell' is also an adjective meaning 'Of a strong and cruel nature', which goes well with some of the backstory options!
